VATICAN CITY - "Come close, with the style of the Gospel, in the meeting and reception of those young people who prefer to live without getting married". Pope Francis asked the parish priests who participated in the training course on the new marriage process, promoted by the Tribunal of the Roman Rota. A new opening, which the Pope has launched right there where we discuss the sacredness of marriage and the rare cases in which it is permissible to derogate from that constraint.
In his speech, Pope Francis drew the attention of the priests also on how to help those who feel that their union has preserved very little of the sacred. But in the meantime it is destined to discuss the motivation given by Bergoglio to invite the parish priests to welcome the young people who have chosen to live together. For the Pontiff, "those young people, spiritually and morally, are among the poor and the little ones". And towards the poor and the little ones, the Church, "in the footsteps of her Master and Lord, wants to be a mother who does not abandon herself, but approaches and takes care of herself." These people are also loved by the heart of Christ. of tenderness and compassion ".
In reality, the Pope has invited priests to embrace every kind of union. "Unions celebrated in Christ, de facto unions, civil unions, failed unions, happy and unhappy families and young people: of every person and every situation you are called to be traveling companions to bear witness and support". To the parish priests, Pope Francis recalled how they are the "first interlocutors" of young people who want to form a new family, that of spouses "in crisis, with serious relationship problems". Their first "care" is "to witness the grace of the sacrament of marriage and the primordial good of the family", helping couples "to live in the lights and shadows"

" New ambiguous statements by Pope Francis on cohabitation, civil unions, de facto unions: welcoming, welcoming and still welcoming ... but welcoming means perhaps endorsement?" By Finan Di Lindisfarne
There are not many words to spend on it.
My personal opinion is that the real problem is not welcoming . Now I challenge to find a priest who does not 'welcome' in this neochiesa.
Instead the problem is announcing to these people that God DOES NOT WANT TO LIVE IN SUCH UNIONS AND THAT MARRIAGE IS THE ONLY REAL VOCATION.
Therefore, as always, the ambiguous words of the Pontiff will reinforce the whole world of unions in sin that so much appeals to mundanity and the humanist neochiesa.
Moreover, the Pope spoke without distinguishing - for a change - of "Unions celebrated in Christ, de facto unions, civil unions, failed unions, happy and unhappy families and young people. Of every person and every situation you are called to be traveling companions to testify and support ".
It's still:
"Come close, with the style of the Gospel, in meeting and welcoming those young people who prefer to live without getting married"
Therefore, most people will understand that the Church has now accepted these unions, given that the Pope advises to "be traveling companions".
This is why the spontaneous question arises again: is Pope Francis here to confirm in the Faith or to contribute to the destruction of the Catholic Church and its truths of faith?
[NOTE: The term "neochiesa" translates as "new church". This is taken from an Italian blog]
